Java Apple - Jambu Bol
This bright red fruit is known as Jambu Bol in Bahasa Indonesia and Malay Apple in English. Native to the Indonesian Archipelago and parts of Australia, this fruit has been cultivated by Indonesians since ancient times and is popular even today. The Malay apple has a rather bland but refreshing taste and is commonly made into jam.
